Ponder Du Jour
I first came across Eadweard J. Muybridge’s stop-motion photographic works at the Vancouver Art Gallery last year. There was one piece that was distinctly more awesome than the rest: a stop-motion series of two nearly-nude dudes fencing.
I still want that framed in my future living room.

Flowers and skies were taken out of over 40 store bought puzzles and combined to form a series of spectacular landscapes by Kent Rogowski. Although puzzle pieces are unique and can only fit into one place within a puzzle they are interchangeable within a brand.
These elegantly simple transit map posters were the wonderful result of a collaboration between a graphic designer and an engineer. They are available for sale at lineposters.
“Upon closer examination, one would notice the delicately crafted marble tears that look as though they are dripping down her face.”
I did not get a chance to see this while I was in Rome…
